The SN 001 is a diesel filter available for a wide range of applications, particularly in agriculture and public works. It can filter down to 10µm and is also a decanter (i.e. it separates water from fuel by gravity). By blocking impurities, especially water, this fuel filter protects the engine and the injection system.
The SN 001 media retains various contaminants, both liquid and solid, to preserve fuel purity. It has small corrugations because it is a rolled media and not a pleated one, which guarantees the passage of fuel. Once the media is unrolled, it measures 1.60m and connects the outer structure to the plastic tube inside.

How does a decanter filter work?
The particularity of decanter fuel filters is in its structure because the fuel inlet and outlet is at the top, then we have the filter and a bowl that allows to recover the unwanted particles. The principle of decanting is to eliminate the water present in the fuels by gravity. That is to say that little by little, the water will naturally descend into the bowl provided for this purpose because it is heavier than petrol and diesel. Generally, this container is transparent and allows the liquid to be seen and drained. The media in the filter is hydrophobic. In other words, it also separates water from the fuel and treats the rest of the contaminants.
